JEE (Main & Advanced)
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an engineering entrance assessment conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India. It is constituted by two different examinations: JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology.
- For NITs/IIITs/GFTIs: Minimum 75% marks in class 12 (65% for SC/ST) or be in the top 20 percentile.
- For JEE Advanced: Must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in B.E./B.Tech paper of JEE Main.
- Maximum of two consecutive attempts for JEE Advanced and three for JEE Main.

- JEE Main:
- Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
- Questions: 90 (75 to be attempted)
- Marking: +4 for correct, -1 for incorrect
- JEE Advanced:
- Mode: CBT (Two papers, both compulsory)
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
- Pattern: Varies every year (includes MCQs, numerical value, multiple correct options)
