Typically the top 80–150 JEE Advanced All India Rank (General) — it's the most sought-after seat in Indian engineering. IIT Delhi and Madras CSE typically fill within the top 200–300. Newer IITs have CSE seats filling in the 2000–5000 range.
Is WBJEE good enough for a solid CSE career?+
Jadavpur University CSE via WBJEE produces graduates who regularly join Google, Amazon, JP Morgan and major product companies. JU CSE is comparable to mid-level NITs in placement outcomes. Heritage Institute and NSEC also have strong WB-focused CSE placement records.
Should I take CSE at a lower NIT or ECE at a better NIT?+
